Lani Rice née Buckland, is a New Zealand born artist living in Melbourne, Australia. 

Known for her distinctive abstract painting, each one painted with engaging textures and bold pattern. 

Through her work, Rice explores the area between modern abstract through to mid century influences, often merging digital ideas with traditional art. Recently experimenting with expressionist interpretations and other art styles.

Rice’s artwork is featured in several boutique hotels across Australia and America and has featured in galleries and exhibitions across Australia, including Saatchi The Other Art Fair.
